Ombrae Studios proposed original artwork for a 6-storey facade on the Río Colorado residential tower in Monterrey. Inspired by the concept of erosion and the process of rivers and oceans quite literally carving the earth's surface into a natural, ever-changing sculpture. This is perfectly depicted in Ombrae's Sculptural Imaging™ technology, with the Ombrae panels also acting as solar-shading screens for the occupants on this south-facing elevation.

Optimized for Many Views
For this project, Ombrae Studios implemented a new view optimization approach. Historically, Ombrae has a directional "primary viewing angle", for which the majority of the Ombrae OpticalTiles™ are programmed for maximum visual impact. Given the extremely wide array of viewing angles for this building's south-facing elevation, surrounded by low-rise buildings, our new "2View" strategy was implement.
