ARQ at Cumulus

Cumulus District is a new transit-friendly mixed use development in West Los Angeles, between downtown and Santa Monica. The 11-acre site combines shopping, dinning, and living spaces in a single complex. The project consists of a seven-story podium building, a 30-story high rise tower, and 100,000 square feet of retail.

As the first residential high-rise in the area, ARQ will become a visual landmark for the community, featuring a prominent 4-story Ombrae façade wrapping the above-grade parking garage at podium level. Ombrae Studios worked very closely with SCB and Carmel Partners to develop and refine input artwork evoking the cloud-based identity of the project. Given the many approaches from which to see the feature walls, the Ombrae panels are optimized with 2View programming, ensuring optimal viewing from all angles.
